Time Zoning

Time Zoning™ = What “type” is my skin?

If you wash your face at 7:00am, when does your skin begin to produce it’s natural oil? Or when do you begin to see the shine on your skin?

I believe learning how to read your skin tells us your skin “type”. Following your skins own natural oil production helps me to target in on your skins need. Although there are many skin dilemmas, your skin “type” will always be the foundation for your daily program. There are four basic skin “types”.

1. Dry/Sensitive  2. Combination/Dry  3. Combination/Oily  4. Oily/Problem

This is how we find out. Remember, we’re following your skins natural oil production. Let’s start our clock at 7:00am. If you cleanse your skin at 7:00am, when does your skin begin to produce oil? (These times are average.)

Good Example:

Combination/dry vs. combination/oily is the hardest to determine.

  • If your skin begins to produce oil between 10am-12pm you’re combination/oily.
  • If your skin delays in natural oil production, starting between 12pm-2pm you’re combination/dry.
  • If your skin does not produce that natural shine way into the day (2pm-6pm) if at all, you’re dry.
